so i discovered neocities in early september of 2023 -- september 7 to be exact -- and shortly after i went ahead and made an account and a site. i didn't really do much with my site besides a little bit of messing around here and there, but i never really made anything interesting or "mine". that is until a few days shy of a year later on september 2, 2024, that i finally got back onto this site and decided i was going to make a proper little website for myself. it didn't start out with much other than a rudimentary homepage with a few links to pages like blog and photos. (the photos page didn't and still doesn't have much on it). after a few more days and gathering inspiration from fantastically designed sites, i had a better idea of the pages and layouts i wanted on my site.
